French comedy melodrama "How to get married and stay single" / Prete-moi ta main, 2006, directed by Eric Lartigo. 43-year-old Louis Costa (Alain Chaba) lives alone, works for a perfume company, creating them, and does not even think to marry. The whole female part of his family, consisting of his mother and five sisters (with numerous nieces), suddenly rebelled against this state of affairs, who decided to marry him at all costs. He categorically does not want this, rejecting all the candidates sent to him, when suddenly his eyes fall on the sister of his colleague and friend Emma (Charlotte Gainsbourg), he has a plan to hire her for money to play the role of a potential bride who will eventually abandon him, he will plunge into depression and everyone will leave him with this marriage. At first everything seems to go according to plan, but at some point the plan breaks down and you have to come up with new options. Of course, like all films of this kind, it ends well, so if one expects some depth, one will not find it here - ordinary human actions, misdeeds, luck and failure, presented in a quite comical purely French vein. The film, of course, is not a masterpiece, but I watched and even got some pleasure, again the actors are good.
